Halloween🎃👻

Hallows eve

I don't eat a lot of sugar... So I pretty much went over board these two days!!

Candy Coma
Kit Kats are pretty much my favorite
Guilty Face

So stoked we got to decorate the store!! I love Halloween! It is my favorite holiday.... To be honest I would rather have two Halloweens than a Christmas. Yes, I know how weird this is. Unfortunately, my apartment doesn't have cable. I don't watch T.V. much at home but this holiday I dictate that TVo. So many cooking shows, pumpkin carving contests, and Halloween movies. Mind you when I say Halloween movies I do not mean actual scary movies. I am talking about Corpse Bride, Beetlejuice, Halloween Town, ect. I am a child and can't handle scary movies!!

CANDY!!!

October 31, 2013

We were warned by locals Halloween is the holiday of holidays here in Lahaina! I work on Front Street right in the heart of all the activity. The stores on the strip were all ready for the celebration. News letters were sent out informing us of the raise in numbers of people coming to celebrate here on Front Street this year. At 4:30 the Keiki Parade begins. Thirty-five thousand people gather and walk this parade. Everyone is dressed and ready to show off the costume they put their hard work into. I was getting ready and missed this parade, but the night doesn't end. The parents take the kids off the street and more people gather. Here are some pictures one of the cute interns took.

This is my managers and their new baby!!

Although this costume was clever and unique, it caused a lot of problems with the LDS girls I was with.....

I was a UNICORN for Halloween this year! Took my 6 hours to work on my horn and tutu! Well worth the time!!

LET THE PARTY BEGIN!!

I love glitter!!

Lahaina Pizza Co. for dinner!

These are the girls!!
(Left to Right) Chelsey: Army Slut, Anne: Baseball Player, Jakelle: Firewoman, Chelsea: Leopard

So we went back out to the car and dropped off our phones and went back out... This is when we wish the most we kept our camera's on us. I saw a sign for karaoke and jumped in line with a some encouragement from my lovely ladies. Sadly, I was one performance to late and they weren't taking anymore people. We were just about to call it a night, and came by a drum circle! No one was dancing and I promised the girls that if they jumped in by themselves I would buy them and ice cream.... I owe Chelsea an ice cream. Anne joined in for a few then they both left and watched. Chelsey and I danced and danced!! I tried getting the girls to join again even Jakelle who was not going to act like a fool in public. It was way fun!! By the time Chelsey and I danced more and more people started to join! I loved every minute of it! By this time I took my horn off. I had a blast, but then we kept walking and the girls came up with a game for Chelsey and I. Whoever kisses 5 guy first wins. One kiss is one point; one mini makeout is 2 points. Chelsey was the first to 5 haha while I was at 4. Then we extended to 10, and I was determined to win!! However Chelsey was going for whoever didn't matter what they looked like and I was looking for guys I would actually be interested in.... Chelsey won! I still finished the challenge, but did not beat the Kissing Queen!! The night didn't end in the best way, but it couldn't ruin the amazing time I had throughout the whole experience!!
Best Halloween Ever!!

Happy Halloween!!

Day After: Not feeling good.... Dinner+Bed
