Today started off a little rough. I was definitely missing home and Utah cheap prices... but nothing a day at the beach couldn't fix.

There is a turtle somewhere in this picture... haha not sure where.... Anyway I was the first to jump in and they said it was huge and swam right by me. |

This part of the cove actually leads out into the ocean. |

We didn't go down very far the first time. Later on we walked all the way down this path and it lead to Honolua Bay |

After this off road adventure we went to Ka'anapali Beach and jumped off 30 ft. Black Rock! I didn't get pictures of our first jump, but it was pretty epic. You have to climb the rock and it's an easy stair-like rock. Once we got up there it was about 6:45ish. We saw a family of stingrays that hangout around the rock and a turtle further out. The water is so clear when you look down. Your first thought is, "I'm going to hit the rocks!" In reality you would have to get down to 13-14ft before you touch the rocks. This was Koa's first time jumping Black Rock too. We were up at the top and met two guys. One of them is named Kadeem, and we are friends. We sat up on the rock and talked before our second jump, not noticing that the sun was past setting and it was almost gone. We all jumped in the dark water below and swam as fast as we could to shore. The only thing in your mind is to not be the last person in the water, just in case....
